Alarming pot bust

A Louisa man's home alarm system has led police to an estimated $633,000 worth of marijuana.
According to Major Donald A. Lowe of the Louisa County Sheriff's Office, county firefighter/EMTs responded to an Oak Forest Lane home on June 16 after the home alarm went off.
The situation at the home led one of the firefighter/medic to file a report with sheriff's office.
"During the time that he was in the house, he felt that there may be something unusual going on in the home," Lowe said.
When officers went out to the property, they discovered an elaborate system of approximately 211 marijuana plants growing in the house.
"It was very advanced in terms of hyrdoponics....
