An Orange County woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing a donation jar meant to cover medical costs for a Louisa County High School senior battling leukemia.
Brittany Lynn Zacher was taken into police custody on August 18 after being identified by Andy Lemon, owner of Louisa Mini Mart. Lemon allegedly caught Zacher and a male accomplice taking a donation jar meant for Josh Campi, the Lions offensive lineman who was diagnosed with leukemia after falling ill at summer football camp. Lemon estimated the jar contained at least $100.
